Staying on top of your child's attendance just got a lot easier.
Starting September 21, 2026 Rise Academy will be using a new text-based system to keep you informed when your child is absent — and to make it simple for you to respond, ask questions, and share notes, all without a phone call.
Here's what's new:
● You'll receive a text when your child is absent. A message will come from (806)230-9195— save this number in your contacts so you never miss it.
● You can text back directly. Reply to confirm an absence, share the reason, or ask a question. It's that simple.
● You can send photos of notes by text. Need to submit a parent note or a doctor's note? Just take a photo and text it to the same number — no need to drop anything off at the office.
● You can proactively text us. Know that your child will be absent? Send us a text to (806)230-9195 and we'll update the record accordingly.
Every response goes directly to our attendance team, and your child's record is updated accordingly.
