Lubbock’s “Distinguished” School
Rise Academy was selected by the Texas Education Commissioner as one of only two schools in the entire state to receive the National Title 1 Distinguished School award for the 2016-17 school year for its consistently high academic performance by its low-income student population.

Rise Academy Charter School is an independent public charter school located in Northeast Lubbock, TX, where commitment to learning and academic performance is the top priority. There is no cost to attend Rise Academy. We are a tuition-free charter school offering grades pre-K 3 through 8th grade. Rise Academy was founded in 1999 to provide underserved children with a better prospect in life through superior education.
