            Rise Academy is an independent public charter school located in northeast

               Lubbock, TX where commitment to learning and academic performance is

                  the top priority.  There is no cost to attend Rise Academy.  We are a tuition-

                    free charter school offering grades pre-k – 8^th grade.  Rise Academy was founded in 1999 to provide low-income, underserved children with a better prospect in life through superior education.  In May 2008 Rise Academy had its first small graduating class.  Nearly 80% of these graduates are now enrolled in local high school magnet programs pursuing a rigorous college preparatory curriculum.  We have great expectations for Rise students, both current students and our graduates!
